Experience the benefits of meditation in this 5-week introduction to Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation (MBSM).
The course addresses ways to best observe how our attitude shapes our experience and how these attitudes can be cultivated and refined in order to better manage life's challenges. It is a practice that enables us to view and understand our lives in another way.
Throughout the course, we will explore the basic techniques of preparation, mindfulness and stillness. Direct experience will be your best teacher and you will discover that there is simply no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to meditate.
Delight in the experience of 'experience' itself. The course is progressive and allows plenty of time to directly experience and develop your own practice.
Suitable for beginners or as a refresher for those wanting to reignite their practice.
Dress in comfortable, loose clothing.
All equipment provided including chairs.
